Golden Gate Bridge at Night: The “Bokeh” Bridge: Image #20130202_137

My friends and I call this image “Bokeh Bridge.” Bokeh is the word that describes those circles of light normally created when a nearby subject is in focus and the background is not. This one is a composite image, created by overlaying an out of focus layer that blurs the bridge lights over a sharply focused one. The blurred lights emphasize the shape of the roadway.

If You Like This Image

You can find a lot of Golden Gate Bridge stock images online, but few that are suitable for large-sized prints. If you’re lucky, you might find a few that can be printed as big as 16 x 24 inches, but 13 x 20 is all too common – and that’s not nearly big enough for your grand vision. Every Golden Gate Bridge image in this collection can be used for really big prints. So far, the largest was 23 x 32 feet (7 x 10 meters). No matter how big you think “big” is, I’ll try to make it happen for you.

You can buy a printed version in any size to decorate your home or office, or you can license it to use for editorial, advertising, commercial, interior decorating, billboards, trade show booths – or any other use you can think of. Here’s how:
