How To Request a Comp

Don’t Misunderstand

“Comp” does not mean free and you can’t use it just anywhere. To a layout designer, “comp” means a smaller-sized image to be used for mock up purposes and that’s the only way a comp can be used legally. The image copyrights are registered and the files are digitally watermarked and tracked, so don’t think you can get away with any other use.

How to Request a Comp

To make your work as quick and easy as possible, the images carry no visible watermarks. You can right-click download the largest image size you can view on the website. Feel free to use those images for mock-ups as needed.

If you need a larger-sized comp, please use the contact information on the left side of this page.

If you’re in a hurry, don’t hesitate to text. The number is on the left. I’m on USA Pacific Time.

Things will go fastest if you have this information available:

  • The file name or the page URL
  • Your contact information
  • A brief description of the intended use
  • Size of comp requested (in pixels or inches at 300 dpi)
